KEY PERSONNEL
Since writing on Pixar/Disney's animated film, Cars, Phil and
his writing partner, Kiel Murray, have returned to the live action world. Drawing on his six years in the
SFPD - two undercover in Vice Crimes - Phil brings passion and a unique voice to the group.
Currently, Kiel works as a Development Executive at Pixar
Animation Studios, where she helps directors shape their stories. She and her writing partner, Phil
Lorin, were writers on the film, Cars, and continue to write screenplays while they raise their three
children.
Ducey brings over 16 years of experience in the motion picture
industry and the rolodex that comes with it. As the proprietor of Ducey Productions, a jib and grip
services company, he!s contributed to high-end commercial, corporate and feature film productions.
Owen comes to the project with a technical expertise not
often found in the industry. He spent the last five years as an Assistant Editor for San Francisco!s
Phoenix Editorial- a leading commercial editorial boutique. Along with his sharp eye and attention to
detail, Owen brings a passion for visual storytelling to the project.
Miller spends his days slaving over the computer as an editor at Phoenix Editorial in San Francisco. So what does he do with his time off? He slaves over the computer as the editor for KILO.
Dana leads the team in film credits, having either
coordinated or department managed on the Pixar/Disney animated feature films: Finding Nemo,
Ratatouille, UP; and short films: One Man Band, Lifted, and Jack Jack Attack. Currently, Dana is
busy potty-training a puppy and managing the art department on Pixar's 2011 release, Bear and The
Bow.
Matt Zipkin is a talented audio post-production
engineer, in addition to being an accomplished guitarist and keyboardist. After studying Jazz
Composition and Music Production & Engineering at the Berklee College of Music, Matt returned to
the Bay Area to work as an Audio Engineer at One Union Recording Studios.
Dan Brennan, Audio Post-Production
Dan Brennan is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist
with credits ranging from indie rock and electronica to country and Christian rock. Between gigs with
any number of local bands, Dan produces beats and DJs at a weekly club in the Mission District.
Additionally, he somehow finds time for his radio career and freelance writing gigs, and can often be
heard late at night on the Bay Area's Live 105.3 FM.
Benjamin Scantlin, Executive Producer
Benjamin, President and CEO of Imagination 9, a Hollywood
management and production company, hails from the small town of Liberal, Kansas.
There Benjamin first fell in love with entertainment and when he moved
West, had the good fortune to collaborate with industry veterans; John
Wells, Quentin Tarantino, Bob "The Idolmaker" Marcucci and many
others. While currently Executive Producing 2 features, 3 webseries
and a television pilot, Benjamin tirelessly manages a client roster of
30 actors, singers, dancers, writers, and directors.
