UPDATE
Just received another 5k$! Look at the pretty thermometer continue to move to the right!
Months of effort have yielded incredible results! Team Kilo has raised over $12,000, nearly half of our $30,000 goal!
We've also secured the generous donation of equipment and services worth tens of thousands of dollars more, including a full camera package, lighting package, and the use of a world-class post-production facility.
Put modestly, this is most impressive. However, with principal photography set to begin soon, Team Kilo needs to raise the remaining $18,000 in order to deliver a truly top-notch film. We're stretching every dollar as far as it will go, especially since there's no big-name studio underwriting our project. Hollywood's finest routinely spend the equivalent of our entire budget on a single day of filming, whereas we'll be covering the cost of cast, crew and crucial production elements (such as craft services, meals, location permits, parking permits, and security) entirely with donated funds.
We're calling upon film lovers everywhere to contribute as much as they can, even if it's just a few dollars. It turns out one of us is good at math, and she figures that if 3,600 people donate just $5 apiece we're golden!
